What is the ISavePower Power Optimizer®?


It’s a small piece of equipment that changes the properties of electricity, so it flows better.  Electrical resistance is reduced, so less electrical input is required to produce the same electrical output.

Is the ISavePower Power Optimizer® safe for my equipment?

Yes, it’s UL certified safe to work with any electrical equipment. It's also CE certified.  It has been installed in hundreds of locations and has NEVER harmed a piece of electrical equipment. It doesn’t alter voltage or add any stress to the existing equipment. It’s wired in parallel so that if it unexpectedly shuts down, your equipment will continue its normal operation. We’ll guarantee its complete safety at your facility. What’s more, you don’t need to alter or replace any of your existing equipment to secure the benefits offered by the ISavePower Power Optimizer®.



Has ISavePower Power Optimizer® been thoroughly tested?

The results for all the tests were consistently excellent.  They all demonstrated a drop in power consumption, while power into the appliances remained unchanged.  They also demonstrated other significant improvements in important electrical characteristics.

Note: Once the circuitry is thoroughly conditioned, it takes awhile to lose that conditioning effect that reduces Kwh draw (also refer to the MET Laboratories, Inc. test below).  Other factors, such as Kvar, Kva, and PF are immediately impacted when Power Optimizer is turned on and off.

Who developed the ISavePower Power Optimizer® and what is the science behind it?

The ISavePower Power Optimizer® was developed over 20 years by Kwon Young Dae, professor of physics at Young-Nam University in Taegu, South Korea.

ISavePower Power Optimizer® is based on a branch of quantum physics called “spintronics”. ISavePower Power Optimizer® applies infrared light throughout electronic circuitry, stabilizing the spin of the electrons of the electrical current from centrifugal force (outward force leaving electrons flying randomly throughout the wiring) to centripetal force (inward force resulting in reduced randomness, thereby creating less resistance).  The result is a measurable, more orderly electricity flow.

Most electrical wire is manufactured with a simple extrusion process, resulting in imperfections that increase electrical resistance.  Over time, the conditioned electricity from the ISavePower Power Optimizer® visibly improves the physical conduction properties of circuits, resulting in a resistance reduction.  Not only does it save electricity, the ISavePower Power Optimizer® is good for your electrical circuitry and equipment (scientific detail and research reports are available in the Power Optimizer® eBook).

What are the steps involved in installation?

The first step is to conduct an Energy Audit. This will be managed and presented by a ISavePower Power Optimizer® - certified master electrician or electrical engineer. The Energy Audit includes a full analysis of your energy consumption, costs, available provider price breaks, state and provider energy credit availability and ISavePower Power Optimizer® equipment analysis and installation costs. Included in the audit are the GUARANTEED projected reductions in energy consumption and associated costs.

Assuming the audit proves the value of the ISavePower Power Optimizer® in your location (it usually does), the installation itself is fairly straightforward.  The equipment will be ordered (delivery is typically 2-4 weeks) and installed by trained professionals who have been certified, licensed and bonded (installation involves nothing more complex than basic electrical wiring).


How is ISavePower Power Optimizer® installed?

Installing ISavePower Power Optimizer® on the load side of a circuit immediately starts conditioning electricity at the molecular level.  ISavePower.com thoroughly inspects all job sites, so our customers know what kind of installation procedures and savings to expect.  Commercial units require professional installation by ISavePower.com to ensure efficacy, safety, and warranty integrity.


How much power does it consume?

A negligible amount. The ISavePower Power Optimizer® is a passive technology designed to lower your power consumption, NOT use your power.


How long does it take to start seeing electricity savings?

Upon installing ISavePower Power Optimizer®, modest savings begin immediately.  They continue to improve as the conditioning of the circuits continues.  This process typically takes 4-12 weeks until a steady state is achieved.
